This weekend we shot cut-out stop motion for our end-credits. Center for Animation and Pædagogik was kind enough to lend us their equipment. Thank you!

My first scene for the film. It's where Flap is back to the practice area for the first time since the accident.

Zippy-O-Jumpin's

Here is a test sample from Animation Lead, Lars Kristian. We are all still trying to figure out the exact animation style, but I think this one is going in the right direction. Yeehaw.

Crew-time

This is the final line-up of the characters in the midst of some fun times. Just foolin'. This started out as a size comparison test, that devolved into some joint scaling shannanigan's. Perhaps it is not even worth posting... but here it is.

This back-shot gives a better idea of how the bump-map looks on things like the hat and pants. It also shows the marbley finish on Flap's noggin.

Hello. Been a while since a post, so I figured I'd show what Flap looks like textured.

I wanted his skin to have a diffused clay like texture, his clothes to be photo textures and just a slight shine on his beak. All of this coming together to to try and make him look like a miniature in a stop-motion cartoon. There's still subtle tweaking to be had, but this is pretty much what he'll end up looking like.
